This week’s guest is Margaret Sartor, the author of Miss American Pie: A Diary of Love, Secrets and Growing Up in the 1970′s. In her book drawn from diaries she wrote between ages twelve and
seventeen, Sartor gives us a peek into the world of a teenage girl and,
along the way, helps us to discover that there is a commonality to our
growing up. What we may have once believed to be a private struggle is
revealed to be a shared experience we can all claim.
Our music is provided by Josh Woodward.

Our guest this week will be Robert Jensen, author of All My Bones Shake: Seeking a Progressive Path to the Prophetic Voice. Dr. Jensen also has the distinction of being one of a very few people whose Profession of Faith was invalidated by the action of a church judicial council. In his book, Dr. Jensen writes about the place that the battle between atheists and believers holds as a cause of societal chaos, and offers a progressive approach to that battle’s theological questions.
Music will be provided by Kerry Politzer.

We were originally scheduled to have a show on Health Care this week, but that fell through. Instead, the bosses tell me that we’re doing a show called “Fun Day!” I have no idea what that means, so I’ll be tuning in to find out along with the rest of you. All I have to go on is this somewhat surreal flyer.
I haven’t seen a script yet either, so I don’t know who the musical guest will be. Perhaps there will be a surprise for guessing correctly in the chat room.
Tune in as we reveal the secrets on Monday, September 7, 2009 at Noon EDT or 9am PDT. You can find us at: https://www.blogtalkradio.com/godcomplexradio live or at that site or this site after the show to listen to the archives.
